Create either a 5-minute video podcast, a 10 to 12 slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation (excluding the title and reference page) with detailed speaker notes, or a 5 minute video presentation on the interaction and influence among leadership tactics according to the following criteria:
Explain power, and compare how it relates to leadership.
Analyze the five sources of power.
Summarize the relationship between influence and power.
Determine how relationships between leaders and staff affect influence and power.
Note: Students electing to do a podcast or video must also include cited sources in their presentation. Students are also encouraged to research best practices for creating a podcast or video presentation. Microsoft Power point presentations should follow the guidelines in the Sample PowerPoint listed above.
Cite a minimum of two references from peer reviewed sources and two citations from the text. Citations should be less than 40 words in length.
