For this week’s assignment, research the ability of Health Information Technology (HIT) to assist with managerial decision-making. The lecture highlighted areas of clinical decision support; however, in this 3-page APA assignment, explore the impact that HIT has on management and operational oversight. Some things to consider while conducting research would be the ability of HIT to assist with staffing decisions, staffing complexity (e.g. can a PA do it or does it have to be an MD), budgets, etc. Be sure to address quality and cost control as well. 
ASSIGNMENT 2) 
In a 3 page, APA formatted assignment, evaluate the federal government’s strategic plan as it relates to the use of HIT. In your evaluation, be sure to include a description of the overarching goals associated with the plan. Assess the progress of the nation in terms of each goal. Has it met the goal, if not, how close is the government to reaching the objective? As with previous assignments, refrain from using large block quotes or directly copying and pasting information. Paraphrase and cite your research accordingly.
